Getting to The Fritz Hotel — from the airport, the station, or by car

5 MIN READ

Anreise · Rheinkniebrücke im Abendlicht — Düsseldorf am Rhein

Twenty-five minutes from DUS airport, nine from the main station, or in by the A46 or A52. Every route to the hotel, without detours.

From Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)

The airport lies 8 km north of the hotel. Two options: take the S11 suburban train to the main station (12 minutes, every 20 minutes), then tram 706 or 708 to the Carlsplatz stop (6 minutes). About 25 minutes in total, with a ticket at €3.40. By taxi it is roughly €22 and takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

From Düsseldorf main station

From the main station take tram 706 or 708 towards Hamm/Volmerswerth as far as Carlsplatz (6 minutes). From there it is a ten-minute walk to Adersstraße 8. By taxi, about €12 in 8 minutes.

By car

From Cologne and the west, take the A46 and leave at Düsseldorf-Bilk. From Essen and the north, the A52 and the Mörsenbroich exit, then through the city. The hotel has no car park of its own; we recommend the public car park at Carlsplatz (entrance on Bastionstraße), about five minutes away, open 24 hours, around €23 per day.

By bicycle

Düsseldorf is a very cycle-friendly city. There is a continuous cycle lane from the main station to the hotel along Friedrichstraße. You can leave bicycles free of charge in our courtyard, and we would ask you to mention it when booking.
