The front desk is staffed 24/7. Concierge requests are best made between 8 am and 10 pm; after that there is an emergency line at reception.

Our hotel restaurant no longer operates in the evening. We currently run the house as a bed and breakfast. For dinner, our favourite restaurants are listed in the city guide.

Our quarter, right between Königsallee, the Old Town and the Rhine. Small, quiet, central. Three steps from everything that makes Düsseldorf.

Carlsplatz market?

The loveliest market in the city, about ten minutes on foot. Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm. This is where we buy the bread, cheese and cold cuts for breakfast.

Can I walk to Königsallee?

One minute. You are practically on it already. Boutiques from Hermès and Louis Vuitton through to local designers, and the Kö-Bögen at the far end are worth a look.

The Old Town and its bars?

The “longest bar in the world” is about 15 minutes on foot. Loud at weekends, more relaxed midweek. We would suggest Et Kabüffke and Schumacher.

The Rhine promenade?

Around eight minutes on foot, a sundowner with a view of Oberkassel and the Rheinknie bridge. In summer we often sit there ourselves.

The hotel does not have its own car park. The nearest public car park is about five minutes on foot (around €23 per day) and we are happy to explain the way.

The house is entirely non-smoking. There is an ashtray outside the entrance, which is the spot for it.
